People are being reminded to take every precaution before going out on the water this weekend.

Water Safety Ireland along with the RNLI and Coast Guard are launching their "Water Safety Appeal" ahead of the May Bank Holiday Weekend.

Checking water craft and equipment, especially life jackets, are in good working order ahead of trips is strongly advised.
