Residents in the Pullathomas, Knocknalower and Cornhill area of Erris are without water since last Sunday night.
A number of people have contacted Midwest Radio today expressing their frustration in getting the problem resolved.
Erris based Fine Gael Councillor Gerry Coyle says he is aware of the matter and is hoping to have the situation resolved as soon as possible.
