Trade Unions are due to give their response today after they were invited to talks on a new public sector pay deal.

'Building Momentum' is due to finish at the end of this year, and a number of union groups had warned of industrial action if talks to broker a new wage agreement weren't arranged.

It's understood any new round of discussions could take place at the Workplace Relations Commission in the coming weeks.
