The RSA and Gardai don't want any more pedestrian deaths this bank holiday weekend.
There have been 38 pedestrians killed on the roads so far this year.
They're asking drivers to give children and walkers the distance needed when overtaking them.
Road Safety Authority spokesperson Sam Waide says children are at particular risk around Halloween:
