Construction is to begin in the first half of next year on the Tesco store in Ballina.
That’s according to Fianna Fáil Minister Dara Calleary.
He says he has been in contact with Tesco, and they say they have a few final issues to figure out and then work will begin.
He says it’s important for both customers and staff in the store to see the works carried out as quick as possible.
