Over 1700 customers are currently without power in the Glenamaddy area of County Galway.
The ESB are reporting that the power is expected to come back at around 17:30 this evening.
ESB have apologized to the 1,748 customers affected by the loss of supply.
They say they are currently working to repair the fault and will restore power as quickly as possible.
