Airports across the country are expecting high passenger numbers for the June Bank Holiday weekend and significant increases on this time last year.
Locally, Ireland West Airport in Knock is expecting passenger numbers to increase by 10-15% in comparison to the June Bank Holiday of 2022.
It follows the national trend and can also be attributed to the recent partnership with Heathrow Airport in London which has seen connecting flights to Knock with more countries worldwide.
