One of the country's most famous weather forecasters retires today.
Evelyn Cusack who worked at Met Éireann for 42 years, is stepping down as head of forecasting.
She became a household name with her weather forecasts on TV, and for her coverage of Storm Ophelia, Storm Emma and the Beast from the East.
The veteran forecaster began working for Met Eireann in 1981, after studying Maths and Physics in UCD.
