Ballina based Minister of State Dara Calleary says he is totally behind Micheal Martin leading Fianna Fail into the next General Election.

It's after reports today that he refused to confirm whether he would support the Tanaiste  as the leader of his party for the next general election on RTE’s  Drivetime Radio programme yesterday evening.

Yesterday he was asked if there was any doubt that Mr Martin was the person to lead the party into the next general election and reports today suggest he did not respond directly to the question.

Minister Calleary was quite clear when Midwest News Editor Teresa O’Malley asked him the same question this afternoon – if he had any doubt that Micheal Martin would be at the helm of Fianna Fail for the next General Election.

She first asked him if the so called “kite flying” by three Fine Gael Junior Ministers earlier this week about what they believe will be in the 2023 budget, bothered him…
