Emergency works for Doohoma National School in Erris have proceeded to tender.
This news has been confirmed this afternoon by Mayo Fine Gael TD Michael Ring who says Doohoma National School were approved emergency works to the heating system in their school and emergency works on the roof and front hall of the school.
This work has now proceeded to tender and Deputy Ring says tenders have to be submitted by the 8th June 2023.
Deputy Ring says the contracts will also be signed for a major extension to Glencastle National School tomorrow.
