Proposals around stronger rights for seasonal workers in Ireland will go to Cabinet this morning.

A register of employers who can hire such workers will be set up.

There'll limits on what can be deducted from a worker's salary for things like food and lodgings.

While seasonal employees will also be able to transfer their work permit between employers without having to reapply.
