A one thousand euro tax break for workers is among the ideas being brought to the table, during budget talks.
The proposal's been made by three Fine Gael Junior Ministers - Jennifer Carroll Mac Neil, Martin Heydon and Peter Burke.
The Irish Independent reports their idea would see workers on the average household income given the tax break.
It comes as Fine Gael, Fianna Fáil and the Green Party prepare to meet for Budget talks later in the summer.
