Elected Councillors in Mayo must call for a Special Meeting to discuss solutions to end the overcrowding crisis at Mayo University Hospital.
This plea has been again made by former Councillor Harry Barrett who says the Castlebar Hospital has broken all records in January, February, March and April for high trolley numbers which he finds deeply alarming.
Mr. Barrett says he will stand aside from the matter once a special meeting is called.
