Over €2.2 million has been awarded to Mayo projects under a new Community Recognition Fund.
The Community Recognition Fund, is an innovative initiative designed to specifically assist communities throughout Ireland that have welcomed and are hosting individuals from Ukraine and other countries.
This funding will provide crucial support to communities in Mayo that have opened their doors to families and citizens from Ukraine and other countries, according to Fine Gael TD Alan Dillon.
The Mayo Deputy says this marks a significant milestone in supporting Mayo communities and underscores the government's commitment to creating vibrant and inclusive communities throughout Mayo and Ireland.
