There is anger amongst Castlebar residents this afternoon as many households remain without water.
A burst water main affected supply to the Westport Road and surrounding areas of Castlebar yesterday.
However, local Independent Councillor Michael Kilcoyne says there is still a large proportion of people without a water supply today.
Some people he says are no without water for over 36 hours which he says is simply not good enough.
