Irish workers are trying to survive with 76 euro less in their pockets than they had in 2021.

Research from Unite has found the real median wage has fallen from 976 per week to just 900 euro.

It says there's no end in sight to "rampant profiteering" - especially in the energy sector.

The Union's also raised concerns about "exponential" increases in the cost of food, with grocery inflation running at 13 percent yearly.
