Today, Údarás na Gaeltachta & Atlantic Technological University (ATU) will host a celebration of Gaeltacht women in Business at the Connemara Coast Hotel in Furbo.

There will be an event to celebrate all female entrepreneurs who have started businesses or are based or working in the Gaeltacht and a general event celebrating female entrepreneurship and will get underway from 1 o'clock.

Earlier this morning at a private event,13 women who were selected onto the Cumasú programme will pitch their start up ideas to a panel of judges.

Minister for State at the Department of Enterprise Trade and Employment, Dara Calleary, T.D.  will be among the distinguished guests on the day, when Udaras na Gaeltachta will be marking the conclusion of the first Gaeltacht enterprise programme with a specific focus on women entrepreneurs.
