The Taoiseach has accused Sinn Féin of exploiting people's fears around housing, as it continues its campaign to extend the eviction ban.

Sinn Féin will present a bill before the Dail this evening, seeking to extend the ban until January 31st, 2024.

Mary Lou McDonald says its proposed legislation will buy the government time to build more houses and ramp up emergency accommodation.
