A Sligo based businessman was among many Irish representatives who received an invite to St Patrick’s Day celebrations in the White House last week.
Richard Kennedy of Tourlestrane was invited by Joe Biden to attend a ceremony last Friday in Washington DC.
Richard is the chairman of InterTrade Ireland, which is an all island company that operates a wide range of business supports for SME’s to trade across the border.
The company was founded under strand 2 of the Good Friday Agreement, which has its 25th anniversary next month.
