Gardaí have charged the man (aged 22) who was arrested on Wednesday, 22nd March 2022, following a joint operation between the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau (GNDOCB) and Revenue Customs Service.
During the course of this operation Revenue officers seized approximately 6.6 kilograms of herbal cannabis with an estimated value of €132,400 in County Sligo.
The man is due to appear before Carrick-on-Shannon District Court this afternoon, Friday, 24th March 2023.
Investigations are ongoing.
