It’s another day of significant delays for patients presenting at Emergency Departments of hospitals across the region.
There are 57 patients on trolleys waiting for beds at University Hospital Galway, and that’s the third highest number nationally today, according to the latest INMO Trolley Watch figures.
17 patients are on trolleys waiting for admission to Mayo University Hospital, 24 patients waiting for beds at Sligo University Hospital and 10 patients on trolleys at Portiuncula University Hospital.
Nationally today there are 632 patients on trolleys waiting for beds in hospitals, with the highest number again today at University Hospital Limerick, where 98 patients are awaiting admission.
