Every effort needs to be made now to ensure that when the US President visits Ballina next month, as expected, that the town and its environs has its best foot forward and is looking splendid.
That’s the view of the Cathaoirleach of Ballina, Independent councillor Mark Duffy.
The need to ensure that the streets are deep cleaned and that the flowers and flags are looking their best was discussed by elected councillors at yesterday’s monthly meeting of Ballina Municipal District.
