Two men are due to appear before a special sitting at Galway District Court this morning following a firearms incident on Thursday evening last (March 16).
A man in his 20s and one in his early 30s were arrested in connection with this incident and have been charged.
At approximately 7:30PM on Thursday evening, Gardaí were alerted after a number of shots were discharged at the front door and window of a house in the Knocknacarra area of Galway.
There was nobody injured in the incident.
Both men are due for the special sitting at 10:30AM this morning (March 19).
