It's another cold day, with people warned of icy conditions on roads and footpaths.

A status yellow snow and ice warning is in place until midday for Cavan, Donegal, Monaghan, Connacht, Longford, Louth, Meath, Offaly and Westmeath.

The forecaster says it will be cold today but milder for the rest of the week.
