Progress has been made in delivering the Murrisk community water connection, with the installation of the distribution of mains gone to tender.
That’s according to Mayo Deputy Alan Dillon, who has welcomed the update to the €6.2 million project.
The new network will provide approximately 29km of main, with all works to be carried out as per the Irish Water’s Water Infrastructure Standard Details.
Finel Gael TD Alan Dillon says this is great news for the 600 or 700 homes in Westport.
