Ireland is the 7th most expensive country in Europe to charge an electric vehicle.
Research by Switcher.ie has revealed, on average, it costs 16 euro 63 cents to charge an EV here.
Denmark is the most expensive at 27 euro 65 cents per charge, while The Netherlands is the cheapest at 2 euro 74 cents.
