After 15 years, St Mary’s Church in Westport is again holding a parish Mission, starting tomorrow.
The Franciscan Friars of the Renewal, Moyross are giving the Mission and Parish Administrator Fr Charlie McDonnell says everyone is invited to attend.
The Mission includes adoration, confession, Mass, talks and music and will open tomorrow evening (Saturday) with a rather unique event called Nightfever where people go out onto the busy streets of Westport at night and invite members of the public to come into the church to say a prayer.
Fr Charlie has been telling Midwest News Editor Teresa O’Malley why the revival of the Mission is welcome and relevant at this time…
