Galway University Hospitals (GUH) End of Life Care Committee will hold their annual Interfaith Memorial Service next week, on Thursday, (02 March) at 7pm in The Ardilaun House Hotel, Taylors Hill, Galway.
The aim of the service is to provide a spiritual space to support families in the grief in a supportive and empathetic environment. It is also an opportunity to meet other families and staff members who have shared the same journey.
The theme for this year’s service is ‘Le Chèile’, coming together, remembering patients and honouring their memory, particularly those who died in 2021. The service will be led by hospital staff who will share a selection of readings and reflections and songs.
Galway University Hospitals cares for patients from a wide geographical area and wants to reach out to all families and friends who have been bereaved.
