A Lithuanian fisherman who drowned off Donegal from a fishing vessel on Sunday morning last, had fished out of Ballyglass in county Mayo, and his cousin has set up a go fund me page in an effort to provide for his heart broken family.
Madis Letsars, aged 37, was described as “a hard worker” who worked “around the clock” to provide for his family.
He is survived by his wife Liene and two children.
To date, 5000 euro has been donated since his cousin Janis Miklasovs set up the go fund me page yesterday.
