More than 8-thousand people have been killed following a devastating earthquake in Turkey and Syria on Monday.
In addition more than 6-thousand buildings have been destroyed.
International rescue teams are in place and say they are still hopeful of finding survivors in the rubble.
But temperatures are expected to fall to minus 5 degrees Celsius, prompting concerns about those who are still trapped.
The death toll is expected to rise in the coming days.
The Irish Red Cross is appealing for donations, its General Secretary Deirdre Garvey says urgent supplies are needed on the ground.
