The government looks set to extend motor fuel tax cuts amid rising costs at the pumps.
According to the Irish Independent, the cuts will be extended beyond the end of this month, when they were due to end.
The excise duty cuts reduce the cost of a litre of petrol by 21c and diesel by 16c.
The cuts were introduced to help with the cost-of-living crisis.
