As St. Angela’s College, Sligo prepares for formal incorporation into Atlantic Technological University, a joint BA (Hons) in Business and Irish has been developed, which will be offered to CAO applicants for September 2023.

This unique 3-year honours degree programme focuses on traditional as well as innovative module content in both areas of business and Irish and will equip graduates to pursue a range of career opportunities from arts and culture, public sector organisations, ICT, financial services, and marketing.

For those interested in post primary teaching careers, BA graduates can also progress to a Professional Master of Education (PME) as the programme meets all registration requirements for the Teaching Council of Ireland. There are also a variety of roles in communication and media, where the Irish language is core.

The degree will be included as a CAO 2023 option using the code AU906, with the first cohort of students commencing in September 2023.
