The Connacht Fleadh committee is appealing to all business people at home and abroad to support the “Connacht Fleadh” which takes place in Ballina from June 23rd – July 2nd.
The Fleadh is estimated to cost in the order of €150,000 and promises to be a major event in the Ballina 2023 calendar, as Ballina celebrates it’s 300 year history.
PRO of the Connacht Fleadh committee, Eamonn Walsh says they are planning a week-long festival of Irish traditional music, song and dance.
A major street festival is also planned for Ballina town centre.
It is expected to attract significant tourism to the area.
The Fleadh committee is a voluntary group working to raise funds for the event.
