The new Suckler Carbon Efficiency Programme Must be Accessible for all Suckler Farmers.
That's the call from Livestock chairman Brendan Golden, who says the scheme is a vital income support for suckler farmers at €150 per cow for the first 10 cows and €120 a cow for all remaining sucklers on the farm.
The scheme opens up in mid March.
