Eight in ten people want the Local Property Tax abolished.
A survey from Tax Back DOT-COM found the public believe it's unfair because it's not measured by income level.
More than a third say they don't believe the money is being spent well in a way that benefits communities.
Just 12 percent said the tax should NOT be abolished because the money is needed to improve local amenities.
