A Castlebar councillor has called on Mayo County Council to assist in finding an appropriate venue for a Parkinson's Centre in Mayo.
Fianna Fail Councillor Martin McLoughlin says that as of now, there is no permanent venue for the organisation in the county.
He is asking the local authority to look extensively at the properties in its possession, in an effort to locate something suitable.
Councillor McLoughlin told Midwest Radio's Alannah Nolan that if a bigger property was sourced, they could establish a 'centre of excellence' that could offer additional services....
