Heineken have come up with a compromised agreement with publicans to introduce a phased increase of prices until March 1st 2023.
Just a couple of weeks ago, Heineken announced planned increases in keg prices which would lead to the price of a pint going up by between 25 and 35 cent.
In reaction to this, various publicans across the country stopped selling Heineken products.
Last night, Heineken informed the Vintners Federation of Ireland about their revised plan whereby a phased price increase will be put in place.
