Bringing jobs and prosperity to the West of Ireland will be high on the agenda when Asia Business Week kicks off in both Galway and Mayo from Monday next.

More than half the world’s wealth is created in Asia and the Government wants two-way trade with the region to reach €100 billion by 2025.

Asia Business Week in the West of Ireland includes a conference on Wednesday next (Nov 30th) at 11am focusing on Female Entrepreneurship at Glen Keen Estate, Louisburgh.

A panel including Orla Good, Commercial Director at Portwest; Sorcha O’Grady, the co-founder and Chief Marketing Officer at Truckscience; and Payslip’s CEO and founder Fidelma McGuirk, among others, will provide expert analysis on a range of topics including ‘Business Connectivity from the West of Ireland’ and ‘The Importance of Asia’
