The Junior Transport Minister says T-I-I's decision to increase tolls is 'bad timing' and the government is unhappy with the decision.

The independent body announced the increase earlier this week, which could see some motorists paying up to 60 cent more for the toll from January.

Hildegarde Naughton says discussions between the government and TII about potentially scrapping the price increase 'are the conversations that need to happen'.
