Early Childhood Ireland, the leading children’s advocacy and membership organisation, has launched its annual fundraising campaign, National Pyjama Day 2022.

On Friday, November 18th thousands of children in the Early Years and School Age Care sector will be sponsored to wear their pyjamas into settings. Now in its 19th year, the event has raised over €3.7 million for charities that support children, in particular children with additional needs.

This year, funds raised will support autism charity AsIAm which helps children with autism to access direct services, to attain their rights, and to benefit from research-informed Early Years and School Age Care.

Proceeds from National Pyjama Day 2022 will also fund a new and exciting member project. Inspired by Reggio Children, it will support educators in Early Years settings to ensure that children in Ireland continue to experience the highest quality education and care.
