It’s expected that repairs should be completed and water restored later this afternoon on the public water supply to Kilcummin, Carrowmore Lacken and surrounding areas of Ballina.

A burst water main has caused disruption to supply for two days now.

Householders and businesses served by the supply are advised that the estimated time for the completion of repairs is 4pm today and it may take up to 3 hours after that for the supply to be fully restored
