Dozens of unaccompanied child refugees are arriving in Ireland to seek help.

Tusla has received 521 referrals this year.

More than 170 children from a range of countries are being accommodated or in the care of the child and family agency.

The study, which has just been published in the Journal of Health and Social Care in the Community, says the responses to fleeing their countries without their families include anxiety, sadness and anger.
