A new independent report on Ryanair prepared by international consultants PwC, shows that the airline is one of Ireland’s largest contributors to economic growth and development since 1985.
The report findings also show Ryanair continues to have a positive impact in Connaught counties over the past 35 years.
The airline carries 800,000 passengers annually to/from Ireland West Airport Knock, operating 15 routes from the airport, connecting with 5 countries.
Ryanair passengers through IWAK generate €37 million to Irish GDP and the airline supports over 850 jobs in the province annually.
