People who miss work due to Covid will no longer be entitled to a 350-euro-a-week payment after today.
An increased rate of illness benefit has been paid for the past two years.
From tomorrow on, those who miss work due to Covid will only be entitled to the standard rate of illness benefit.
That's 208 euro a week.
