Bank of Ireland has been fined over 100 million euro by the Central Bank over its handling of its tracker mortgage customers.

It is the largest fine ever imposed by the regulator.

The Central Bank said 15,910 tracker mortgage customer accounts, a number across this region, had been impacted by the bank's actions.
