Kelly’s long established artisan Butchers in Newport has secured a further national accolade.
Checkout Magazine has launched its Top100 brands edition, and for the first time Kelly’s Puddings are in the top five.
Kelly’s make premium black and white pudding and sausages under the Kelly brand.
The shop was founded by Sean Kelly’s father and Uncle Michael in the 1930s.
Since 1982, it has been run by brothers Sean and Seamus and now Sean’s two sons Kenneth and Cormac are both involved in running the business.
Sean’s daughter Shauna manages Kelly’s Kitchen , a cafe located next door to the Butchers.
Kelly’s also operate an abattoir, making them a full-service artisan butchers
