Gardaí have renewed their appeal to the public for information in relation to the aggravated burglary that happened in Ballintubber last month.
In the early hours of Monday, August 22nd, 93 year old Una Farrell and her two sons were targeted by at least four masked men in a terrifying ordeal at their home in the county Roscommon village.
The culprits restrained the family, and ransacked their home and adjoining business. They made off with a sum of cash and cigarettes.
Gardai say investigations are ongoing and they are renewing their appeal to the public for anyone who may have information that may assist the investigation or if they saw anything unusual in the area from 10 p.m. on August 21st until 1 a.m. on August 22nd to contact Castlerea Garda Station on 094-9621630 or the confidential line on 1800666111.
