Castlebar Mitchels, in conjunction with Murray Ambulances, are hosting a ‘BBQ of Appreciation’ for all the frontline workers in the community to say thank you for the dedication and the care they showed to all while delivering critical services during lockdown arising out of Covid-19.
The event, on August 26th, will celebrate the workers who took on the burden of risk and responsibility to care for so many during a particularly difficult time.
Gardai, the Fire Services, HSE, and the Ambulance Services and everyone is invited to the event with free BBQ, music, and fun, where the community, can say ‘thank you’ to those that stood on the frontline throughout the pandemic.
The event will take place on Friday, August 26, at An Sportlann with doors opening at 7 p.m.
Entertainment on the night, starts at 9pm and will be provided by Tomás Langan and friends.
