Ireland has suffered reputational damage in the eyes of prospective international nurses.

That's the view of Migrant Nurses Ireland, who say new recruits are experiencing massive difficulty in finding accommodation and meeting living costs.

According to the INMO, they make up one quarter of all newly registered nurses, with almost 900 new migrant nurses employed in the HSE this year.
