Achill Island Coast Guard came to the assistance of two kayakers yesterday afternoon.
The alarm was raised at 13.45pm where the kayakers needed help at the Seal Caves in Dugort.
A wave had capsized one of the kayakers and they needed assistance to get back to shore safely.
The D-class vessel was launched from Dugort Pier and the crew brought the capsized kayaker and the other kayaker safely back to dry land.
The team were stood down at 3.30pm.
